All good things come to those that wait. Oval Track Classic is needed as we forget that it still exsists. Any chance of keeping web site up to date. As of today still features Spedeweekend as top story, what about the other big meetings elsewhere? If web site was current then delay on magazine would not be so important.

Have a photo of the moment of impact at Wisbech in the late 80′s / early 90′s when Eaton ‘followed’ in Perry in the World race – also got a nice one of the post crash punch up on the Greyhound track!

got to no steve last year at arena and we had some real good laughs on and of the track was one of the lads that always helped when thing go wrong in the pits sorry to hear of your tragic new thinking off ya

Thanks for the nice piece Matt. Losing Wurz so suddenly was a great shock to us all and he has left a massive hole.
Most people will of course remember Wurz from his Banger racing days but I think he had a go at most things.
He was new to Group A’s and was very much looking forward to the new season in freshly prepared car.
We hope to be able to scatter his ashes at one of his favourite race tracks as this was his wish.
Thanks for the warm messages from his many friends.

Just came across this old article from 2003.
I was the driver mechanic etc. to the team who included Nobby Turner,his brother Phill Turner and their cousin Mick Dalton.
All three cars were built by there drivers,with help from a possy of freinds,but all ran a similar Boss engine.
Nobby had an old Mk.1 black transit walk thru van to tow the race car.V4 engine very slow up hills and not too good on stopping on the way down .
In those days we raced at Crayford,Iwade,Dover,Arena Essex (just opened)Clacton,A proper circuit in Kent but I ‘ve fogotten the name and once a year at Brands Hatch (till the banger drivers had a fight in the Octogon) never got to race there again.

Raced at the new track Sunday 24/1/10 an again on the 7/2/10 . in our prodA NOVA .The track was excellent and very well run. very grippy and fast track. be even better when they widen the bends cant wait for the season to start

A note from another press release: Over in the United Kingdom, the BBC is planning on meeting Free State 500 winner John Mickel upon his return. Mickel passed Toni McCray on the last lap to win the 207-lap event on Sunday. Marc Davis finished third with Rick McCray in fourth and South African driver Johan Spies in fifth.
