Pickup Truck Racing
Door-to-door, bumper-to-bumper action at over 130mph – this is Pickup Truck Racing. Many of the drivers - past and present - cut their teeth in the short ovals including Hot Rodders Carl Boardley, Phil White, Pete Stevens, Steve Dance, Antony Hawkins and Dave Longhurst. Simon and Damien Carr, meanwhile, came through BriSCA Formula One Stock Car route.

Six pages from inside the July 2010 issue including 4 out of 5 hottest racer pages

Aldous at Last!
The Saloon European Championship finally ended up in the hands of David Aldous at the Cowdenbeath Racewall on a bright and sunny Sunday afternoon on 23rd May when after many years of trying he finally got his name on a trophy which had eluded him over the years. Although there weren’t as many Saloons at the track the quality was top drawer and there was plenty of entertainment for the fans.

The June Extravaganza North of the Border
The second of the two day GMP meetings encompassed both the Knockhill Tri-oval, Saturday 12th June, as well as the Cowdenbeath Racewall, Sunday the 13th, where both the F2s and Hot Rod drivers took centre stage. However that didn’t rule out the supporting formulae in any way with the Prostox drivers contesting their Scottish Open Championship on the Sunday afternoon.

Worldwide...
News from our NASCAR experts Martin D Clark and Mike Greenwood including reports from Darlington Round 11, Dover Round 12, Sprint All Star Race, Coca Cola 600 Round 13, and Pocono Round 14, plus news on the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

NB: there is no National Hot Rod World Preview in this issue as we knew it was running too late to be out in time - sorry.
